Free Seminar at the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach-Don’t Take The Bait!
WEST PALM BEACH, FL (JULY 21, 2018) – After reaching thousands of people through a media campaign that went viral, Catch the Wave of Hope is proud to announce it is partnering with the Mandel Public Library of West Palm Beach for a free seminar to educate parents about the dangers of local sex trafficking. “After we went on TV to warn parents about the dangers this summer, we got flooded with questions” said Lynne Barletta, founder of Catch the Wave of Hope, the local organization bringing awareness healing and action to abolish human trafficking. “We had so many questions, that we decided to hold this free public meeting to answer everyone and help finally put a stop to this disgusting practice in our area.” Experts say during the summer months sex trafficking picks up and Catch the Wave of Hope has already seen local girls being solicited at our malls and even has text messages traffickers sent to show how they are working in our area.
“Traffickers are using certain methods to lure in our local girls.” We will teach parents why the mall and other common places can be dangerous for young girls and why these crimes pick up in the summer ” said Barletta.
